Swanda's environmental team evaluated, conformed and installed a Brink's fiber bed mist eliminator vessel for a firm providing industrial chemicals and services to customers in North America and around the world.  Fiber bed mist eliminators consist of thick layers of very fine fibers placed between two concentric cylindrical screens or cages.  Chemically resistant glass fibers, synthetic fibers and other special type fibers are used as the fiber bed material to capture and eliminate unwanted particles from the air.

Swanda is in the process of fabricating and installing four multi-stage scrubbers in ammonium nitrate prilling processes in El Dorado, Arkansas.  This project is set to be completed in the next few months at the El Dorado Chemical Plant.

Swanda is currently executing a project for wet scrubbers used in the emissions control for a urea granulation process.  The project is located in Borger, Texas.  Fabrication is currently in progress.
