Skydance Pedestrian Bridge

Swanda was "flying high" as part of the Skydance Pedestrian Bridge Project Team for the City of Oklahoma City.  This bridge was inspired by the Oklahoma Scissor-tailed flycatcher and is a pedestrian walkway to connect downtown Oklahoma City to the Oklahoma River.  Swanda is pleased to have been a part of this great Oklahoma landmark.

Swanda was selected by W&W Steel to provide the fabrication of specialty stainless steel for the Scissor tail sub structure and the 665 hand finished feathers that adorn this 200 foot long and 185 foot tall structure.  After participating in an extremely aggressive schedule and completing this structure on time passers by on the new I-40 highway may now enjoy this beautiful Oklahoma landmark.
